The PADI Equipment Specialty familiarises divers with the basic functions of scuba equipment and its operation.
The course also covers recommendations for caring and maintaining your kit. Common problems will be discussed and how to get your dive gear serviced professionally.
Although the PADI Equipment Specialty course will not certify you to repair kit, it will give you the foundation of knowledge to progress onto industry standard courses, should you wish to?
Course Overview

Course Prerequisites

You must be certified as a PADI Scuba Diver/PADI Junior Scuba Diver (or have a qualifying certification from another training organisation similar to that of a PADI Scuba Diver/PADI Junior Scuba Diver)

Knowledge Development
Knowledge development is based on a self-study method, allowing you to study in your own time, at your own pace. Home study is backed up by an academic session with your PADI Instructor, to ensure full understanding of the course material.
