Description

Capernwray offers great visibility, numerous depth levels, plenty of wrecks and of course an abundance of fish, including the curious trout and the majestic sturgeon. Combine that with the great site facilities and you have the ingredients for a great days diving. We will be arriving at Capernwray around 8:30am and will be on hand all day to offer advice, logistics & assistance to ensure you get the most from your diving and have an enjoyable day. This event is open to all certified Open Water divers and above, regardless of training agency. Make sure you are best prepared by: 1. Refresh your diving skills by coming along to one of the club pool sessions 2. Refresh your diving knowledge including emergency procedures, hand signals and safe diving practices. 3. Ensure your Cylinder, BCD & Regulators are in tiptop condition and have been serviced in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. 4. Check drysuit seals and zips & lubricate as necessary. 5. Charge or change batteries in your dive computer, torch & camera 6. Put together a ‘Save A Dive’ kit, including spare mouthpieces, fin straps, mask straps, o-rings, clips etc.. & a basic tool kit 8. Review the location, entrance costs and facilities by visiting Capernwray’s website www.dive-site.co.uk. Please note that entrance fees are NOT included with your booking & must be paid directly to Capernwray on arrival. This option includes cylinder hire. The cylinder will be supplied full and may be returned empty (20 bar minimum). Subsequent air fills are not included. Don’t worry if you don’t have your own equipment as we are able to arrange full or partial kit hire for the day. Just let us know your requirements ahead of time.
