Saturday Splash At Stoney Cove 25th April

We will be making our April social splash at the infamous Stoney Cove in Leicester. Stoney offers numerous depth levels between 6 and 36 metres and has plenty of wrecks making this a great underwater playground. If you're lucky you might even get to spot the resident Pike

Stoney Cove offers great on site facilities, including air bar, dive shop, changing rooms, snack bar and of course Nemo's bar, great for a post-dive beverage and get together.

We will be arriving at Stoney Cove around 8:30am on Saturday 25th April and will be on hand all day to offer advice, logistics & assistance to ensure you get the most from your diving and have an enjoyable day.

This event is open to all certified Open Water divers and above, regardless of training agency.

Make sure you are best prepared by:

  • Refresh your diving skills by coming along to one of the Thursday evening pool sessions

  • Refresh your diving knowledge including emergency procedures, hand signals and safe diving practices

  • Ensure your Cylinder, BCD & Regulators are in tiptop condition and have been serviced in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.

  • Check drysuit seals and zips & lubricate as necessary.

  • Charge or change batteries in your dive computer, torch & camera

  • Put together a ‘Save A Dive’ kit, including spare mouthpieces, fin straps, mask straps, o-rings, clips etc.. & a basic tool kit

  • Review the location, entrance costs and facilities by visiting Stoney Cove's website https://www.stoneycove.com/stoney-cove.html

Don’t worry if you don’t have your own equipment as we are able to arrange full or partial kit hire for the day. Just let us know your requirements ahead of time.

If you'd like to join in and get your fins wet, then please get in touch.
