The PADI Discover Scuba session allows you to experience the thrill of breathing underwater in a fun & exciting Scuba adventure. The program is designed for complete beginners to give you a taste of the exciting and weightless aquatic environment.
You'll learn the basic techniques for using Scuba equipment & quickly see how easy it is to Scuba dive. Our friendly team of PADI Professionals will be on hand to ensure you have a memorable experience and to answer any questions you may have.

Experience Overview
Prior to taking the plunge there are a few important things you should know about Scuba Diving. These are explained during a brief, fun & informative presentation, which will answer any questions you may have.
Your underwater adventure will begin by a PADI Instructor or PADI Divemaster introducing you to the Scuba equipment you'll be using during your adventure.
You'll then be given time to adjust to the exhilarating feeling of breathing underwater & before you know it you'll be totally immersed, gliding through the water with ease, experiencing flips, turns & somersaults in this 3 dimensional weightless world.
You may even practice some fun & exciting scuba skills after a demonstration by your PADI Instructor. This will give you an insight into what is involved in the PADI Open Water Diver course.
Experience Prerequisites
The PADI Discover Scuba program is suitable for complete beginners with no previous experience of Scuba Diving. The only requirements needed to start your Scuba adventure are:

You must be 10 years of age or older. A parent or guardian must be at the pool to accompany those under the age of 16.

You must complete the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Participant Guide prior to the experience. Any pre-existing medical conditions highlighted on this form will require medical clearance before the activity can take place.

Now that you have taken your first Scuba Diving lesson, you are well on your way to becoming a certified Scuba Diver. The PADI Open Water Diver Course is the next step in your journey and is your ticket to a lifetime of action & adventure.
This course can be completed entirely here in the UK or if you'd prefer you can complete your initial training here with us and then complete the qualifying open water dives when you go on your holiday as part of the PADI Open Water Referral program..
